Front View of Tryon’s Palace, New Bern, NC

In preparation for my next documentary about an early Revolutionary movement that started in North Carolina by a group called the Regulators, I visited the reconstructed Capitol seat established by the then Governor Tryon in New Bern (in those days, known as Newberne), NC.

It was a great visit, well orchestrated by the communications manager and I was able to capture many site shots and gain insights into the times surrounding the 1771 Battle of Alamance.

I decided to publish this external shot to share the view of the symmetrical Georgian architecture of the place. Inside shots are prohibited without license so I will not share these until the documentary is official!
