Windblown Grasses

This is a perfect example of why one should have a camera on-hand at all times. I had gone out for an errand this morning. It is a cool, clear, breezy day here in the Carolinas. I hopped off an exit and saw these beautiful purple-topped grasses along the roadside. They were being blown randomly and looked truly luscious in the specular morning light.

In post processing, I ran it through Viveza to pop up the purples a bit then used ColorEfex to apply a low-key filter and some blurring around the edges. A final frame suggested itself to contain the image.
